Casio G-Shock DW9052-1BCG

The iconic G-Shock is deserving of a spot on the list of the Best Watches of All Time, much alone the Best Watches Under $200. The basic DW9500-series watch is always around $100, and it has everything you need (though Tough Solar charging may be worth spending a little extra for) and nothing you don't: Waterproof to 200 meters, with several stopwatches and alarms, a lighted LED screen, and an almost unbreakable build.

Bulova Accutron II Black and Red Dial Stainless Steel Quartz

The Accutron II is a highlight from Bulova's Snorkel Collection, with a stainless steel case and patterned black dial surrounded by a spinning red-and-black ring. A screw-back case with screw-down crown, calendar function, double-press deployant closure, and water resistance to 200 meters are also included. It won't be a Rolex, but it won't be as expensive either. The Accutron II is one of the finest under $200 watches for all of these reasons and more.

Seiko 5

It's difficult to match the value of the legendary Seiko 5 when it comes to vintage wristwatches. The Japanese-made watch, which was first introduced in 1963, is widely considered as a trustworthy alternative that can compete with many more expensive watches. We were able to set the time and date with ease, and the automatic movement saved us from having to wind the watch by hand or eventually replacing the battery. Although it will lose power if left unattended for a few days, this will not be a problem for most watch wearers (who will appreciate the timeless appearance). The canvas strap may be replaced with a dressier stainless-steel band, as our test example did.

Casio Edifice WR Aviator Chronograph

This piece's intricate dial allows you to measure things like airspeed and fuel usage when flying an airplane, but it also just looks nice. The black and white dial with red accents, as well as the stainless steel band, exude panache. Casio is known for its (now obsolete) digital timepieces, but this demonstrates they can also handle analog. In terms of pricing, this is one item that clearly punches beyond its weight.

Timex Weekender Chrono Horween

Form Function Form produced this Timex Weekender Chrono, which has a classy Horween leather band for the utmost in trendy use. A robust and durable Timex movement combines with the watch's timeless chronograph function to provide an always-accurate representation of the time on the inside. The Weekender's vegetable-tanned Dublin Ale leather strap contrasts nicely with the nickel-plated brass case on the exterior. With a diameter of 40mm, the watch is an eye-catching accessory, made all the more powerful by its excellent materials.
