Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Automatic 40mm Watch

Vacheron Constantin is the oldest Swiss luxury watchmaker, having been founded in 1755. As a result, they have a long and illustrious history. The watches in the Patrimony line are inspired by 1950s style, with a minimalist aesthetic and ultimate quality. The huge 40mm blue sunray dial contrasts gracefully with the 18-karat pink gold casing on this edition.

Piaget Altiplano Automatic 40mm

This Altiplano in rose gold might not be for everyone, mainly due to its meteorite dial. Piaget has various Altiplano models though, but we happen to like meteorite as dial material. The watch measures 40mm in diameter and it has a thickness of 6.5mm. Not the thinnest Piaget Altiplano, but thin enough to be a good candidate for a dress watch. Inside we will find caliber 1203P, with micro-rotor. A beautiful looking movement (visible through its saphire case back) with a thickness of only 3mm.

Cartier Tank

According to legend, aerial images of Renault FT-17 tanks inspired the design of the Tank, which was initially created as a present for General John J. Pershing as a gesture of France's gratitude for his assistance in ending World War I after Louis Cartier saw them in his daily newspaper.

Most wristwatches were nothing more than adapted pocket timepieces for the wrist before the Cartier Tank, and the Tank was the first to truly be designed with comfort and aesthetics in mind.

One of the most enduringly popular watch designs, it owes its lasting success to its particularly elegant Art deco look, which can be found in all of its 250+ model variations.

This legendary watch has adorned the wrists of many renowned people throughout the years, including actresses, politicians, and monarchy. John F. Kennedy wore his Tank throughout the most of his presidency, and the fact that Cary Grant, an actor known for his sartorial refinement, picked the Tank tells a lot about its design.

Longines Master Collection

The versatility of a blue-dialed watch is a big part of its appeal. It goes with practically any outfit. However, its softer appearance contrasts with the starkness of certain black or white dials. With its brilliant sunray blue dial that captures the light from any angle, the Longines Master Collection nails this attraction. It boasts a moonphase complication that appears to float against a night sky and comes with a matching blue alligator strap. A date display among the poetry is a gesture to practicality.

Blancpain Villeret Extra Thin in steel

Blancpain pays respect to the hamlet of the brand's beginnings with its most traditional collection, Villeret, while being more recognized today for its pioneering Fifty Fathoms diving watches. These clocks' sleek, double-stepped casings and finely crafted, clear dials epitomize watchmaking at its finest. A 40mm dial with Roman numerals at the periphery and graceful, sage leaf-shaped hands on the two-handed steel version leaves enough of white space for the legends "Blancpain 1735" and "Swiss Made."
